Matt & Nat are a vegan brand from the Garment District in Montreal making waves. They make a range of vegan bags, accessories, and footwear.
Their sustainability efforts don’t stop at vegan leather. Their shoe linings are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, and they’re starting to use recycled bicycle tires too.
Their shoes and accessories are stylish and timeless. You’d be hard-pressed not to find something you like from here. They have stores all over Canada where you can check the items out in person, otherwise, you can shop online.

Since 2012 Frank And Oak have been creating quality essentials out of Montreal.
Interestingly, they didn’t start as a ‘sustainable brand’, but over the years have become more and more eco-conscious. Currently, over 50% of their products are made in an eco-friendly way.
They use initiatives such as incorporating recycled materials into their clothes and packaging, as well as a range of sustainable materials like Seacell, Lenzing TENCEL, and recycled wool. Their dyes are all eco-friendly to avoid run-off contamination.

What they make: Womenswear

For over 15 years Eve Gravel has been creating ethically-made clothes using sustainable fabrics. They design all of their prints in-house. Furthermore, their clothes are all handmade by local artisans.
Their style is minimalist and relaxed but contains careful detailing that makes every piece stand out.
